In 2010, Project Information Literacy (PIL) identified key assignment elements that determine the likelihood of students being successful with research projects. The planning checklist above is based on the PIL report.

PC Library subscribes to the following streaming media databases that contain video you can use in your online classes:

Films on Demand (Academic Collection) - Multi-subject streaming video collection.

Media Education Foundation (Kanopy) - A collection of documentaries dealing with issues in media, culture and society.

Swank Digital Campus - A collection of classic and popular films.  Contact Mercedes Miramontes to obtain information on how to link to these titles.

VAST: Academic Video Online - Streaming video collection with educational content from over 20 different disciplines.  Includes PBS film collections.
